Arshin_soltan

Arshin is a PhD student of Biomedical Engineering supervised by Dr. Mariana Bento. She received her B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, where she developed interests in medical image processing, artificial intelligence, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She completed her final-year project using deep learning approaches to analyze fMRI data in the context of memory and cognition. Currently, Arshin is interested in exploring the uses of explainable and responsible machine learning methods in pediatric mental health research. Her work mainly involves analyzing fMRI and behavioural datasets and developing AI-based frameworks that emphasize fairness and reliability in neuroimaging research for the younger populations. In her free time, she enjoys baking, listening to vinyl records, and photography.
