Joanna_lin

Joanna Lin is a master’s student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, working under the supervision of Dr. Mariana Bento and Dr. Roberto Souza. She completed a B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Calgary, and her interests are in deep/machine learning, algorithmic fairness, and medical image processing. Her research mainly explores the socioeconomic disparities in stroke care and the applications of machine learning that promote fairness and equity in this domain.
